Beyond Borders Resources & Investment Ltd is a limited liability company duly incorporated under the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with registration no RC 1088701 and registered office at 19 Ichie Mike Ejezie Street, Lekki Phase 1.
Through our partnerships with International financial institutions and accredited fund providers, we provide fund arrangement, financial advisory and consultancy services.
We offer solutions to our clients in a timely and efficient manner to help them reach their transaction goals after detailed assessments. Once we understand our client needs, we carefully select the most appropriate lending partner.
With our strong management team, we are vast in project finance, corporate finance and asset markets. Our sector span includes oil & gas, mining, renewable energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, transportation, power, telecoms and large commercial projects.
Our Team
Taiwo Onitiri, Managing Partner
TAIWO ONITIRI is the Managing Partner of Beyond Borders Resources & Investment Ltd. He holds a BSc Degree (2nd Class Upper) in Estate Management from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and a Masters Degree in Real Estate Economics and Corporate Finance from London School of Economics & Political Science. He is a certified Project Manager (PRINCE 2, UK), Investment Banker, member of the LSE Global Real Estate Group, Registered Surveyor/Valuer (RSV) and an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors & Valuers (ANIVS). Taiwo has over 10yrs experience in banking where he served as financial consultant in Standard Chartered, Retail Head in Skye Bank Consumer Banking and Senior Investment Analyst in Skye Bank Project Finance. He also currently serves on the board of Bols/Gloryland International Schools and Sunbo Onitiri Holdings.
Helen Jacob, Partner / General Counsel
HELEN JACOB serves as a partner and Head of Legal at Beyond Borders Resources & Investment Ltd. She has over 15years professional experience in multiple sectors both locally and internationally, her experience spans in key sectors mainly Oil and gas, Telecomunication and legal. She began her career with the BT Group as an operation manager in London . She later joined the firm of Perchstone and Graeys as a pioneer member and was the head of the commercial and corporate department. In 2002 she worked primarily on oil and gas,mining,and advises on licensing,establishment ,investment,regulatory,compliance and development , fiscal and operational matters as they affect natural resources.
Helen holds a law degree from the University of Buckingham and has been admitted to practice law in Nigeria
Dele Uwefoh, Partner
DELE UWEFOH serves as a Partner at Beyond Borders Resources & Investment Ltd. He has several years of experience in Risk Management, Mortgage Banking, Financial Institutions Department, Treasury, Consumer Banking and Remedial Asset Management, where he developed special competencies in client relationship management, liability generation and credit and loan structuring. His career started in 1996 at Soceite Generale Bank Limited. He was at various times Head Risk Management, Head Financial Institutions, Head Local Currency Trading, Head Foreign Currency Treasury and Head Remedial Asset Management, Head Financial Institutions in Bank PHB, with the responsibility of managing a portfolio size in excess of N60 billion, Dele was also Managing Director/CEO Spring Mortgage, a subsidiary of Enterprise Bank Limited.
Dele is an alumnus of IMD Lausanne Switzerland’s Executive Management Program and also holds a B.Sc. Degree in Business Administration from the University of Benin (1994) with significant leadership, client relationship and liability generation experience in various capacities.
He was a Deputy General Manager (DGM) at Enterprise Bank Plc with the responsibility for managing 14 Branches as the Regional Head Ikeja Region. Prior to joining Spring Bank Plc, he was an Assistant General Manager at Bank PHB PLC. Dele is an experienced and versatile Banker, with over Ten years involvement in the new Pension reform as member UBA/STB merger sub committee on Pension Fund Custodian (PFC) with the responsibility of ensuring that UBA/STB is granted AIP to operate as a PFC. He was also a member of the PFC start up working committee post AIP.
